Every QB in the history of the NFL does. Brady loses it less than most.


I don't agree with that either. Seems to me he tends to throw high after 25 yards. I think it's possible he has lost some arm strength and needs to put more air under the ball and less zip. But it's expected at his age.

The deep ball is not one of Brady's strengths, and he's not the best in the league at it, but he's nowhere near the worst at it either.

I think you're underrating Brady's ability to throw the deep ball because the only legitimate option he's had to throw it deep to was randy moss. One season with Brady was enough for moss to have easily the best season of his career and one of the better ones ever. Admittedly you don't quite need pinpoint accuracy when moss is your target, but Brady hasn't even had another above average option. He errs on the side of the overthrow when he puts it deep because it's less likely to be intercepted, but I don't think he's less accurate than more than a small handful when he does decide to put it deep.
