Unlike the PGA, the LIV makes its own schedule and worries about its own business. The PGA has been forced to give every player 500 grand to begin the season. Wait a minute, isn't that free money? I'll be darned.
It's an advance. Not free money. And not for everyone.

But thanks for playing. You never cease to impress with your ignorance.

- complains about PGA Tour "bomb and gouge" guys -

- touts greatness of LIV golfers like Brooks, Bryson, and DJ -

- doesn't see a sense of irony -

My 1st thought when I saw that gem from him.

Right. It's a complete coincidence that LIV's events are competing against the weakest field events of the PGA.

I wonder which schedule was out first??? Hmm....
Yep, those LIV guys are astute businessmen but the PGA, not so much. They've relegated many of their long time big tournaments to the back pages and its going to bite them. They are also pitting the Top tier PGA players against the journeymen players by boxing them out of the top tournaments and that's going to come to a head as well.

The one thing that might save the PGA is if LIV collapses completely which would be a shame but very well could happen..

Bullshit. They keep it whether they earn it or not; so nice try.

Like 3% of exempt players didn't hit the $500k mark last year. And those all came close. And as purses are increases, the odds of finishing exempt and without $500k is pretty much nonexistent.

The problem with your theory is that the journeymen, middle of the pack pros are left out of the big events and it is supposed to be moreso next year. Many will not make that 500 Grand level nor will they care much. 500 grand a year is a good salary, plus they get 5 K spending money for every tournament they play in so if a guy gets in 30 tournaments he's made 650 grand.

Take a look at the once prestigious Honda Classic, home of the Bear Trap. This tournament is now headlined by Im, Horschell and Lowry. That is a slap in the face to a long time sponsor, I believe the longest active sponsor in the PGA. Who is going to watch that group?

We need not look any further than the headline that Foster produced where it says "Guaranteed 500 K" Sounds like guaranteed money to me. There is only one reason that happened and it doesn't start with PGA.

See, I told you the PGA is boring. Can't wait to watch the likes of Aaron Wise, Chris Kirk, Min Woo Lee and ALex Noren battle it out this year.

LOL... in what alternate universe was The Honda Classic ever one of the PGA Tour's "prestige" events?

Obviously its much better to go watch Eugenio Chacarra, Sihwan Kim, Chase Koepka, and Jediah Morgan go head to head.

LMFAO.

Yes. Jack Nicklaus Bear Trap was there. All the big names came there. They are the longest running sponsor on the PGA and when you fuck over your best customers you end up paying for your short sighted strategy of destroying LIV.

You just destroyed your own argument. With LIV, unlike the PGA, you get all their stars in every tournament. Didn't Chacarra just win on the DP World Tour? LOL! You've gotta do better than that kiddo.

I think what you meant to say was:

Yes, LIV intentionally schedules it's events against the weakest the PGA has to offer. It's their only chance to get at least a few viewers.

Cool. I used to use that type of comeback in the third grade; Good memories.
