Yea, LOTS of New Yorkers follow Rutgers.. -_-
No kidding, thought about that too. Whopping average attendance of what...25,000?
I know that I am an idiot, but I am not sure what the fuck I am supposed to get out of this list.....
They list the biggest TV markets and then the local team....
....how profound
What the fuck does this prove?
:rapture:
HAH!
Boise is 7 places in front of Eugene
where the hell is duck fan dan
I am still unsure what point the authors are making. Many teams get Reichman coverage in areas where another school is closer. What is the message here. What were the authors getting at. This is why wiki sucks. Peer reviewed shit at least has to make some sort of point.
Tuscaloosa is 120 miles from Anniston

I stopped reading at "New York City - Rutgers".
I've lived here for 7 years and have met one Rutgers fan, and he's from New Jersey like 3 miles from campus.

Also promise you that Northwestern and Northern Illinois are not the most popular teams in Chicago, people in Cleveland, OH aren't watching Akron and Kent State, and so on.
Looking at the teams whose campuses are physically located in a metropolitan area is stupid.
