Time to bring in Clemons and bring up Seisay from the PS or bring in Bailey. Bentley is done from what I saw and we are down to 2 safeties healthy.

Where are you seeing that he's hitting the IR? I saw media speculating its a torn ACL but tests havent come back.

And moreso, that he's done as a Lion?

I just think if the IR thing is true he'll be off the team next year. That would be the 2nd year in a row landing in the IR and he's only on a 4 year contract. Prediction not fact.

Bill Bentley*- DB -*Lions

Lions slot CB Bill Bentley has been diagnosed with a torn ACL, is done for the season.

Bentley was carted off in Monday night's win over the Giants. Fourth-round rookie Nevin Lawson will take over between outside corners Darius Slay and Rashean Mathis. Cornerback depth remains an enduring problem for the Lions. A 2012 third-rounder, Bentley will go into the final year of his rookie contract with just 18 NFL appearances to his name, and has been ineffective when on the field. He won't be guaranteed to crack the 53-man roster next summer.
