If Poindexter doesn't knock the ball out of the receivers hands the play before the clock runs out and UVA is not the only team in NCAA history to lose 2 games in one year by 1 point on the final play.

Poindexter could have been one of the best if he doesn't blow his knee his senior season. He laid one his hits on Butterfield and knocked the ball loose.

My dad and my still talk about that season, UVA finished 9-4 but had the lead in the final minute of every game. Va Tech lost their first two, but finished 10-2 with a Sugar Bowl win over Texas.

If you get a chance watch the UVA Va Tech game from 95, it rivals the 06 OSU scUM game as one of the best rivalry games.
