That game reminded me a little of the Super Bowl. A great offense will always get their asses kicked by a great defense.

Carolina has a great defense. It wasn't the difference in this game though. Two missed FGs, fumbles, INT, dropped balls. Negative plays in every facet. Not good enough. Lions had better improve because this is not acceptable.

Well, the defense forced the fumbles, the INT's and beat the shit out of our QB. I'd say they did well.

Carolina isn't just some slouch team. They had a couple of key guys out and the Leos should have taken advantage of that... 'cause that's what good teams do.
Of course that didn't happen the "good" Matt took this week off and reverted to forcing to CJ. Guys forgot that we don't dribble the ball in football and of course the rookie kicker hurt us by missing 2 fgs. The secondary is far from all-world and they're getting thinner with each passing game. In the end played a shit game against a good team. Still should've found a way to win this one.

Only bright spot in this game ...the defensive front seven looked good when they weren't completely gassed.
