That wasn’t really a phantom call. The ref is going to call that in real time 100 times out of 100. I agree he was going for the interception but when it looks that brutal in real time it’s going to get called.

This NFL sucks. Sorry the dude is hurt. But they know the possibility when they sign the contracts.

I get penalizing a guy for blatant hit to the heads aka Deacon Jones, helmet to helmet or spearing...

But the officials really need to be able to use judgement of intent.
