Of course they have. But I think it's becoming obvious to everyone that the Lions are one of the teams that have had more than their share of game-changing terrible calls go against them.

Blaming refs goes with losing more games. If you win, you don't blame the refs.

Take a look at the records of the teams that each 5-1 team beat it appears Seattle is the worst 5-1 team. The combined record of the teams Seattle played is 14-21-1 and you are a Ram's missed field goal away from 4-2. The Packers opponents records are above .500 at 17-16-1 and N.O. opponents records are 19-17

I have always had this complaint about officiating. Foot ball and baseball included but more obvious in basketball.
I can accept almost any call that was missed (maybe even the Rams/ LA call last years.

It is the call that is made on something that did not happen. Usually, a reach around defensive poke away called a foul and the replay show the defender never touch the player.

Although it is now a rule, the spiking of the ball to stop the clock is a joke. The only receiver in the area is the QB the ball is intentionally grounded.

Missed balls or strikes because and old time umpire down like the strike zone rule as it is written.

I've gotten over it somewhat. Bring on the Viqueens. I said before the game if they can split with the Pack & Viks, I'll take it. Just sucks for the rest of the rest of the NFC north now since the Packers have distanced themselves a bit.

It seems to me that Stafford has thrown/lost a couple of games when the Dictators were gift wrapping the game for the Lions. Maybe I'm mistaken and the Lions just couldn't execute to win the handout.

Problem is that a team wakes up the next daayin last place because of the bad call instead of waking up in first place if the call isn't made.

It was a bad call but it didn't change the outcome of the game.

I'm over it. I wasn't expecting much from the Lions this season to begin with. They've already exceeded my expectations. For the first time in the 30-some years I've been a fan they actually look pretty solid on both sides of the ball.. almost as if there's a plan and they know what they're doing. This is new territory for a Lions fan. That's enough for me this year. They don't have the talent to go all the way, so I'm not sweating this.

Son, that was a joke. I have 4 of them in the drive. My "newest" one has just over 160k on it and the old boy has just turned 253K. I get my money's worth.

NFL officiating is taking a serious beating. Even the NFL Network has replayed the Hands to the Face fake penalty at least 30 times.

It took the media intervention to oust Matt Millen. William Clay Ford and Matt Millen were still friends afterwards. I still believe the Lions fan base is still paying for it. I'm pretty sure the drama from the Lions being hosed will continue.

That was legit ! Ok, well, I can’t back that up ... back then refs made mistakes, but it seems like it’s happening like crazy in today’s game, it’s maddening ... I think we all expect some mistakes, it’s understandable, but whoever is leading the NFL refs has them throwing flags like it’s mandatory they throw a certain amount every game... God it’s getting painful to watch...
