Riddick just busted a ridiculous screen pass for 36.

Ya it was. Aside from the missed xp and Drayton Florence getting absolutely burned on a long pass, I thought they looked pretty good.

Kellen Moore looked a little overwhelmed at times.

Khalil Mack looked awesome for the Raiders.

I really liked the blitzing our LB's did.

Freese had an ugly XP(33) kick where he hit the side of the ball and it was just a knuckle screwball that hit the upright. Made a reaaly nice 56 yarder easily though. Got me second guessing after that one.

Only saw the first half. Will watch the rest Sunday.

Looks like the 2nd and 3rd string defense gave up some points to a bunch of nobodies late.

Mental mistakes cost us. That is a little concerning considering we have a disciplinarian as a HC.

Dan O didn't completely suck for a change.

Fairly is getting fatter by the minute. Put back on almost all the weight he lost. Not playing well.

We don't have a LB that can cover a TE.

Starters all looked pretty good on offense especially Tate.

Defense is still a little suspect but the blitzes looked good. Nice to see them mix it up.

The refs are going to be throwing flags in their sleep. Awful. They still suck.

* Broyles looked good again. He's regained some quickness that wasn't there last year. He should be the 3rd receiver.

* Freese has shown too much inconsistency to depend on at this level. The kicking position may cost us a game or two if it's not rectified somehow.

What's up with the Raiders putting starters back in on defense in the later parts of the 3rd quarter?

Was that so Mack could play against the 3s and look like a beast to get the Oakland fans excited about him? Seemed pretty bush league to me. When they started putting starters back in on defense Caldwell should have trotted the whole starting offense out and quickly put another TD on them.

That was odd, but maybe D All thinks his guys need the extra work. Make it or break it year for him with the Raiders rumored to be moving to LA (prob will want a new HC if they suck this year).

My guess is -- Oakland has new starters all over the place on defense and they wanted to give them as many snaps as possible playing together.

I have no problem with teams doing that. Hell -- they can play their starters all 4 quarters if they want. They are the one's who will have to deal with it if one of them are injured and miss real game time.

I have to wait for NFL network replay to watch.

So did Kellen and Dan switch roles this week? Seemed all the hype last week was premature then?

Can't wait to see the blitzing. So over Gunther time.

He is on hotseat either way IMO. He was in same boat as Schwartz kinda was. Terrible drafting by Millen and Davis for years decimated the franchise.

Dennis Allen IMO almost deserves another year with slight improvement this year. They actually have had a couple good drafts and next year will be put up or shut up. Money runs the world nowadays, so coaches get less and less time to prove their worth anymore.

Moore wasn't as sharp as last week, but he wasn't terrible. He's still throwing the ball a lot better than I thought he could based on the last couple preseasons.

Dan-O looked drastically more comfortable out there this week than he did against the Browns. His footwork was much more settled.

Dan-O still cant throw under pressure though. Going to be a tough call.

The Raiders rallied to win, I fell asleep when they were down by 10.

I didn't see any panic throws this week though. That's a step in the right direction compared to the Cleveland game. If he makes that much progress the next two games I'll be far more comfortable with him than I was just a few days ago.
