I like the energy of the young guys (Defo) but this defense needs an infusion of vet experience and a pick me up so to speak. Do you not think signing someone like Suh for the remainder of the season would not only ignite the fan base but our defense? Guys like Suh can still play. I guess we will wait until Payne or Allen go down before making such a move because at that point, they will have no choice.
Cost would be an issue with Suh

I'm staring to get a little impatient with Jamin Davis. I know it's early and my whole approach to everyone this year was wait and see.

I just don't know what he does well at this point. He can't cover TEs over the middle. He can't cover RBs in the flat. He can't get guys lined up pre-snap. We saw that last year. He doesn't sack the QB. (I'm sure that has something to do with scheme)

Two former LBs spent a 1st on a guy who more than a year in I still can't tell you one single thing he does well.

Hope he balls out Sunday and I'll be the first to issue a public apology.........but it's time for him to step up or go sit down somewhere.

Davis had a sack but it was called back by the first of two Fuller penalties in a row.
I think watching M. Parsons the other night got me in my feels.

Not to get ahead of ourselves but looking to next weeks schedule:
Commanders @ Lions (Get this win and confidence grows within)
Carolina @ Giants (Baker looking to get in the win column)
Cincinnati @ Cowboys (Burrow & Co will roll Dallas)
Minnesota @ Eagles (Monday night; Can Kurt help his old team ask BA)

It's all about Detroit. Their run game, our holes on defense, that crowd......if they can go in there as a road dog and beat a well coached team that gave the Eagles all they could handle, I'll be right there with you @skinz2winz.

I'll really have my Cousins cape on. I can't get excited about other teams or the schedule until I have a better understanding of who we are. Right now I still don't really know.
