Joique Bell- passed 3 of 5 concussion tests.

Joe Fauria- Still out

CJ- no practice but plans to play sunday

Travis Lewis- hamstring injury. havent heard much else

Theo Riddick- hamstring injury. not expected to play.

Nick Fairley- Knee injury. Limited particpant in practice.

Golden Tate- Hamstring. cam back to practice yesterday limited. hopefully will play but havent heard much else.

Devin Taylor- Been limited for a little while now.

Cassius Vaughn- went from no practice to limited.

Don Carey- full participant for a couple days.

LaAdrian Waddle- full participant for a couple days and says he feels great and thinks he will play this weekend vs the Bills.

Could return later IR: Kyle Van Noy, TJ Jones.

Season Ending Injured Reserve: Montel Owens, Stephen Tulloch, Bill Bentley, Nevin Lawson, Corey Hilliard

Hoping the shot worked. With Owens Riddick and Bell out. Winn will get some action. Unless Jed sees increase in snaps. Which I will not mind.

Yep. We've got games against division rival @Minny next week, then N.O. (home) and then onto London to play Atl then a bye. I say sit him this week and if he's better next week play him and if not, then definitely be ready for N.O. come Oct. 19th.

Detroit Lions 'strongly' considering sitting Calvin Johnson


Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell said at his weekly news conference today that he will "strongly" consider sitting wide receiver Calvin Johnson this week against the Minnesota Vikings (1 p.m., Fox) to rest his injured right ankle.


"I thought about it last week and, just kind of looking at him and just being straightforward, I'm gonna think about it again this week, strongly," Caldwell said. "So we'll see."

Just heard on XM NFL that Bell has not been cleared for contact yet
