The Athletic's Pete Sampson writes that Notre Dame DT Jerry Tillery played his last eight games of the year with a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
Quite frankly, the fact that Tillery (6'6/310) was able to put up the numbers he did while dealing with that kind of injury is remarkable. It also helps explain why the defender chose not to participate in the Senior Bowl. Teams will obviously be checking to make sure that Tillery is healthy at the combine, but as Sampson notes, the fact he played with the injury should help alleviate some of the concerns teams have that he isn't focused/doesn't care about football.

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah reports that some believe Ole Miss TE Dawson Knox could run sub-4.5 in the 40-yard dash.
Dawson (6'4/257) would be approaching really elite territory if he posted that time at the NFL Combine, but we might not get a chance to see that happen. While appearing on the 'Locked on NFL Draft' podcast, Knox claimed that he wasn't sure if he could participate in the 40-yard dash because of an undisclosed injury concern. Hopefully he can get his ailment cleared up before his pro day so we can get a somewhat official forty time.

NFL Network's Bucky Brooks believes Georgia TE Isaac Nauta has the potential to fill in a George Kittle-type role.
Nauta (6'4/240) wasn't utilized as a receiver at Georgia with "too many mouths to feed" but that hasn't prevented analysts from setting high expectations for a Day 2/3 tight end prospect. While we aren't sure if Nauta has that high of a ceiling -- Daniel Jeremiah called Nauta a "cradle catcher" -- we are cautiously optimistic that Nauta can carve out a role in an NFL offense.

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah called Iowa TE T.J. Hockenson the "safest player in the draft."
Hockenson (6'5/250) is a plus receiver and a "dominant" blocker, so this isn't as crazy of a statement as it sounds. Jeremiah notes that 2018 breakout tight end George Kittle didn't come close to Hockenson in terms of production at Iowa in a similar system a few years back, which highlights the potential of Hockenson. Out of all the skill position prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft, Jeremiah believes Hockenson helps his quarterback more than any other prospect with Alabama RB Joshua Jacobs coming in second. Hockenson may end up being selected inside the top-10.

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah ranks Georgia WR Riley Ridley as his 29th overall prospect.
Jeremiah spends some time in his blurb to point out Ridley's flaws -- mainly production and burst -- but he's bullish on Ridley as a receiver who can contribute right away. Ridley (6'2/200) attacks the ball and has strong hands, but it's his footwork that helped him the most in college, often beating corners deep on double moves. While history is against Ridley producing in the NFL because of his lack of production, there are still plenty of reasons to believe in him as a Round 2 prospect. If Ridley shows more burst than expected at the NFL Combine, then he has an outside chance of sneaking into the end of Round 1.

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah ranks Washington CB Bryon Murphy as his 33rd overall prospect.
Jeremiah doesn't believe Murphy has the ideal size/speed combo, but his instincts make him one of the top corners in the class. In fact, Murphy checked in ahead of LSU CB Greedy Williams on Jeremiah's rankings. Where Jeremiah believes Murphy will be attractive for teams who play zone coverage, so he can use his instincts to read route combinations and the quarterback. If he doesn't test like an elite athlete as we expect, then Murphy looks to be destined for a late first round pick.

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah ranked Arizona State WR N'Keal Harry as his 48th overall player.
Harry is two spots ahead of Ole Miss WR A.J. Brown, who is a similar receiver prospect to the Sun Devil. Jeremiah likes how Harry's game will translate to third downs and in the red zone at the next level, citing Harry's physicality and strength as the primary reasons. When it comes to speed, Harry is just middle of the pack, but he's still an above average receiver after the catch. At Arizona State, Brown used those YAC skills as a returner, which gives him some more value. With the NFL Combine right around the corner, we'll see if Harry surprises analysts with a faster than expected 40-yard dash, which could push him into the late portion of Round 1.

Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy compared to UMass WR Andy Isabella to T.Y. Hilton and Brandin Cooks.
In reference to common comparisons linking Isabella to Julian Edelman, Nagy said that "pigment-based comps" are "lazy." The former NFL scout believes Isabella (5'8/186) may end up running the 40-yard dash in the 4.2s and that Isabella's low center of gravity allows him to "handle sharp turns like a race car." Those traits led to an enormous amount of production for the Minutemen, and a lot of it came downfield. In fact, Pro Football Focus credited him with 705 yards coming from downfield passes, something that fits the mold of Hilton and Cooks, not Edelman. If you aren't comfortable comparing Isabella to top-25 NFL receivers, another valid comparison is Travis Benjamin.

Please let me know out of the gazillion Bama players chosen in the first two rounds the last 5-10 years. How many of them have become IMMEDIATE impact players. Even Julio took till year 4 until he was consistently dominant. Calvin Ridley seems to be the exception. He's had a great start to his career.
