From an emotional perspective nothing is too crazy; but from a pragmatic perspective, doing the Mike Ditka dive bomb for Tron to play for OUR team in OUR offense with OUR QB would be insane. IMO.

Oh, man I would LOVE to have an offense where someone like MT could thrive, unfortunately, and IMO, that will never happen as long as our QB has the last name of Alex Smith. But maybe and even hopefully, this year Smith makes his elite status evident.
