Lincoln Now Has The Best BBQ in the Midwest

Oklahoma Joe's just opened up one of their first BBQ joints out of state, and it's in the Lincoln Haymarket. Best cot damn BBQ you will get without going to Austin for some Franklin.

Problem is, when they start chaining out, the quality almost always dips, so could be overrated. Had it in KC and it was the 2nd best I've ever had. Franklin wins that one.

It's not the same...the original Oklahoma Joes split up some years back. The Kansas City area ones are run by one guy and all the others are the other guy. They have different menus and stuff. I've only had the KC version (now called Joe's KC) and THAT is the best BBQ around. I haven't had Ok Joe's, and I've heard it's not as good as KC, but still pretty good.

Don't ever get the ribs at Texas Roadhouse. I added on to my steak once. PURE MUSH! They say they cook them low and slow and I believe it... in a freaking crock pot!

My guess is shitty food, or shitty service and high overhead costs. Or all 3. But definitely shitty service. I mean it's Lincoln.
