Great news! 8 years $68 mill so $8.5 million per season. Always thought he'd resign but the last week or so I was started to getting concerned that he was going to walk. Glad he's resigned for 8 years and at a reasonable salary as well considering the caliber of players he is.

In 30 minutes Taylor Hall has been traded to the Devils for Adam Larsson in a mega deal. Then even in a more of a mega deal the Habs traded PK Subban for Shea Weber, Wow.. just Wow. Then to top it off Stamkos resigns in Tampa. The last 30 minutes the hockey world has gone mad!

Yeah Subban for Weber was a shocker, came out of nowhere. Personally I think the Habs win this deal, I think they get the better player in the deal and for less money as well.

Yeah Subban for Weber was a shocker, came out of nowhere. Personally I think the Habs win this deal, I think they get the better player in the deal and for less money as well.

The only thing is that Weber is under contact till he is 40 so although he's a better player than Subban and his cap it hit is roughly $1.2 mill lower than Subban's, this deal is going to come down to how quickly Weber regresses at his career progresses.
