I liked Rosie too but Alberto is cheaper and versatile. Plus the roster spot it frees up. You don't need both and Alberto is a bit better defensively

Disagree........Rosales makes south of a million dollars. Our budget is somewhere north of $140 mil and you're talking budget? Really?

Alberto may be better defensively, but it's not a quantum leap difference.

Rosales has age/experience/attitude/ on him at least. Can also pitch, and has power.

You'd honestly RATHER have him than Adam right now? OK.....but, not me.....and it's not close.

Mitch has got to get back to driving the ball to all fields. He's gonna get himself in a funk that's gonna be hard to get out of if he doesn't.

AGREE 1000%.......we're starting to see the MM I was sick and tired of when I wanted him gone (finally) after last season.

He's gotten back into that, pull-pull-pull BS......Give him a day off, show him some video of now/then and show his quotes about "when I'm at my best, I use the whole field, especially the alleys."

I like Rosie personally and think he was prototype bench player hustle. Flexible team player best attitude on team. But .....as I said it frees up a spot. One is better than both. Alberto does short and second and third better and we have plenty of first baseman. Alberto has options thus that flexibility. More team control. Should I go on?

Tough business baseball decision but the correct one IMO. We have other infielders on the way up as well.

Perhaps time to rethink? Ha
