Actually, I'd settle for 1 outa 3 for a 3-3 homestand, I dont like the looks of this.

Looks like we miss Hamels in Philly, that road trip doesnt look near as scary with all the injuries to the Phillies and Berkman out in St Louis.



July is our key month imo 16 games vs Cubs, Astros and Rockies. Either we dominate the worst teams in the league and make a big move for the playoffs, or we dont and have to settle for trying to break the streak.

There are two toss-up games in this series, and tonight is one of them. I don't think we're going to beat Verlander, but tonight's matchup between Burnett and Fister is key to the series, in my opinion.

i am bummed we are giving lincoln another start(and yes, i was one of those wondering and calling for him to have a chance to start). we need to audition the AAA group and we have karstens on deck and leroux in the hole.
unless they are trying to showcase lincoln for a trade, i am not sure why another start.
if he does well on sat, what does that mean. he is a starter and gets another chance or he is a mid/long reliever?

i am holding out for 2 out of 3 although we could strike out 35 times this weekend and get 2 walks.

last night we scored 9 runs and no walks. has to be a rarity.

Lincoln's curve is really fooling the Tiger hitters today. He's got six strikeouts, and I'm pretty sure they're all on curves.
