It is sad to see other teams like this but nice to see the Pirates beat up the bad teams. It is a good sign going forward.

Great baserunning in the bottom of the second. I loved the aggressiveness, taking the extra base. And Barmes getting himself in a rundown after he got hung up between first and second, then Alvarez timing his break perfectly and scoring was a great job of making a positive out of a mistake, which is what good teams do.

alvarez always seems quicker and brighter on the bases than he looks.
