Ehhhhh, why bother? Denver should just skip the Draft altogether. Would be better than having them attend the Draft only to watch the Broncos embarrass themselves.:thumb:

I don't mind @Duffman

I was actually going to use Clark today anyway.

I like Clark but not at #31, he makes me too nervous as a developmental guy to take at #31. He has great tools, but he is a round 2 guy.

I love the upside of Jihad Ward but the production isnt there but I'd be fine where you have him.

This draft would be VERY hit or miss. With Hack, Clark and Ward. I wouldn't mind 1 of these guys, but it is probably overall a bit too risky for me at the top half.

I like Cravens, but not for Denver.

Probably not my favorite mock draft. I honestly probably like your 3rd and 4th round picks more so than your 1st 2 rounds.

Clark--I've watched a few of his games and while all the tools are there to be a good LT in this league he just doesn't put it all together. He has plays where his feet just stop moving allowing a guy to run around him and him almost acting surprised the guy decided to go to the outside? I don't get it. He is terrible in the screen game as he lacks control of his body sometimes. He also lacks awareness of what is going on around him staying with a double team missing the guy blitzing right behind the guy he is blocking.

Now having said that I do like Clark because like I said all the physical tools are there but he is a 2-year project in my opinion. That to me is not 1st round material. 2nd and beyond and I would be excited about his potential.

Cravens for some reason isn't a guy that excites me. He has ability for sure but he just seems like that in between guy of is he a linebacker or safety? He looks more like a 3rd down specialist than a 3-down type linebacker. If I am using a 2nd round or higher draft pick on a linebacker it is a guy that I think will be a 3-down player.

well this is what it is hit or miss ....

Christian Hackenberg IMO is risk that IMO should be 5th round type a pick in my mind .. I get it QB ...yata yata

I don't want him ..

Saying that I would give Elway a break and be happy they got what they wanted .. There are a lot of good players to be had some will develop out of this list ..

This last line really is something I have been thinking about. They were talking about players busting the other day and they wish that teams would take some of the responsibility for that player busting. I mean to me Cleveland doesn't just keep staying at the bottom of the pile because they are terrible drafters that just so happen to pick all the major busts in the 1st round. Those players are just never even given a chance to develop into the player they could be.

So I do like this draft in the sense of the high potential that a lot of these players have. Clark is one of the more athletic LT's in this draft so if they can get the mechanics and mental part of the game to catch up to the athleticism he could be a huge get. Hackenberg at one point was on a path to being the 1st overall pick so again if the Broncos can bring that out of him it would be the biggest steal since Tom Brady.
