I don't even think the SEC needs to add two more teams. They have the most fanatical fanbase of all the conferences. They seem to be TVs favorite. If they do add two more, why not just secure your regional foothold and take GT and FSU? Are Florida and Georgia blocking that?

I doubt Carolina can afford that. Duke is going to be left out of conference expansion, Carolina can't allow that to happen. Also, Carolina has a new AD, i doubt he would ever agree to such a thing.

Never been printed or verified that I'm aware of; just SCar and Florida fans that are afraid to have their in-state rivals get another competitive edge.

SImply put, yes.

That and it doesn't really add any more revenue because they don't gain much in terms of footprint.

GT doesn't want in the SEC anyway. FSU just wants out of the ACC, but I think they'll be calling the B12 up first to gauge interest.
