The usage of TO's throughout the league is mind-boggling.

Giants down 3 with 2 TO's left. Cardinals with the ball with 3:40 left. They run the ball and the Giants use their 2nd TO. So what if the Cards get a 1st down on 2nd or 3rd down. Those TO's are precious, use them when the time gets closer to the 2 min warning. That way you're allowing your defense to potentially still give up a 1st without putting yourself in a bind. Sure you're sacrificing some time, but it's only 3 points, you don't need the full 2 minutes.
