i want to know who thinks this move was good or who thinks it was bad

I think it was good in the fact that it gets rid of Mac (he is not a good coach) and we really need a change...

But I think it is bad in the fact that once again Lou is staying inside the devils organization, the same thing that is the problem right now. Langs and Lemaire dont get along and Langs play this year has really pissed me off. He can go as far as I am concerned... but Lemaire will not be the answer we need to bring us out of this funk.... his first game against the other worse team in the league showed that.... 5-1? Come on Man

1) He didnt even have his own practice yet, that was still Mac's team, 2)The Islanders were already the better team judging from their last couple of games, and 3) They were also already scoring more goals than us, our problem all year was lack of goals scored. We scored 0 or 1 in half our games so its not surprising.

We can't score goals and Lemaire will NOT help that... but Langs hates him so maybe he will waive his NTC and we can get him outta here

I dont know, I think Langs knows Lemaire is pretty much just there until the end of the year

I say it's a good move as long as he really is just the interim coach and is gone at the end of the year. For all of Lemaire's faults, he is very good with young players and can hopefully bring some sort of discipline/gameplan/focus whatever you want to call it to this team. Johnny Mac really had nothing going for him and it cost us a season. Use the rest of the year to build towards the future.

The season is lost and Lemaire will be great for teaching all the rookies that are playing this year.

He also wont be able to get the Veterans to step up so the team will be able to comfortably cruise to last place
