Good battle Nova. Both teams will learn and grow from that tangle, haha. :suds:

Yep. Tough fought game. Beilein and Wright recruit similar talents.

Both coaches are also apparently a testament to being unable to recruit talent down low. What's with that committee of stiffs UM has in the middle? :L 9 pts, 7 rebs, 0 blocks and 12 fouls.

If either team could ever land an DeMarcus Cousins or even Myles Turner, it'd be ON...

Great win for Nova. Somebody in the VCU/Nova game had the opportunity to walk away with two quality wins this early in the season, Nova got em. This will significantly help their resume.

How about the Big East already this season.

Providence win the Hall of Fame Tip Off tournament over ND
Nova wins the Legends Classic with wins over VCU and Michigan
Seton Hall wins the Paradise Jam
Creighton beats Oklahoma

Conference is 36-2 as a whole right now. Setting themselves up really nice OOC.

More big opportunities in the Battle for Atlantis with Georgetown and Butler representing the Big East.

Another big game for the BE this Sunday; Providence at Kentucky.

Losing McGary (NBA - failed dope test suspension) Morgan (graduation) and Horford (transfer to Florida) really forced Beilein to run with this young/inexperienced group of undersized bigs. Not that Beilein has killed it on the big man recruiting trail but adding Jon Teske to the 2016 class (6'11" 210 pound HS junior) was a decent score. Beilein's system doesn't necessarily showcase his bigs but if he can develop a couple of near nobodies it'd bode well for the program. Until then Michigan will have to play a much better perimeter game than played last night.
