all this up and down movement is just weird and inexplicable to me
If the canucks pay the speeding ticket, does that get applied to their cap hit? lol
After driving across Washington, Montana and North Dakota to get to Winnipeg, and picking up a speeding ticket on the way, Lee Sweatt will grab a flight back to Vancouver.
According to his brother and driving companion, Bill Sweatt, the reassignment is "for the next couple of days," leaving Bill without a roommate for the moment.
The move allows the Canucks to place Lee Sweatt on their opening-day roster. Which of course, because of salary-cap manipulations, isn't the roster that will be in place on the Canucks' opening night Saturday and a couple more moves can be expected.
