According to tsn.ca/nhl/players, he is a UFA. Not sure who the "front runners" for him are, he's kind of an under the radar kind of guy. He did get hot towards the end of the season with the 'Yotes, but I have a hard time believing he's anything more than a spurty goal scoring grinder.

I've always kinda liked him as a player, but man, I used to want to throw up listening to the Blues announcer (can't remember name right now) gush over him.

I, for some reason, liked him as a player when he really emerged with the Blues a few years ago. However, by the time he made his round with the Leafs, my thoughts changed.

He was brought to a weak offensive team and couldn't produce. This is exactly why I don't think the Sabres should fetch -- in all likelihood -- more than $3 million for this guy.

Don't tie up that kind of money with what seems like a question mark on offense. IMO, they'll have plenty of cap room next year (Connolly, Rivet, Montador, off the top of my head, should be gone with their contracts expiring) to sign a significant UFA or RFA (Parise )
