:agree: He's not playing like the best player every game, but he's still the best player in the league when he wants to be. He showed it during that win streak the Cavs had.

24.8ppg, 7.7apg, 5.5rpg, 1.5spg and 0.7bpg is still pretty damn good.

He started slowly shooting the ball (41.5%) this season, but is already back up to almost 48%.

To be fair, the Cavs do have issues beyond just being completely new together. For one, they're not very good defensively. If their offense is off, they can't rely on their defense to get them through it like the Spurs or the Heat of the past 4 years. They need to address that if they want to win a title.

But they are getting better. They were something like 25th. And in their 8 game winning streak they moved up to 13th defensively, that also takes time and it is actually more difficult to get on the same page defensively.

He is still the best all-around player. Just needs to find his definite role and mesh with his teammates more, it is getting better as we speak.

Her just doesn't look the same. Its easy to see. Has nothing to do with him playing with a new team. You can see he took a step back. He is injured so maybe that's the reason. Lots of season left.

Not to me. Step slower and shooting is down. I mean he was never a great shooter but still.

It's certainly possible that he's slowing down/declining. After all, as has been pointed out, he's 30 and he's logged a lot of miles both in the NBA and in international basketball.

It could also be a symptom of the Cavs figuring out roles too. It was similar in his first year in Miami. Once they got it figured out in Miami, he started being a lot more aggressive on offense, driving to the hoop, etc.

Most likely, it's probably a little of both.

I think once things get figured out with the Cavs, we'll start seeing more of the Lebron that fans are used to. I think he'll still prove to be the best player in the game, but it'll be a question of how big the gap is now. My guess is that it won't be nearly as big as it was even last year.

Lebron has a team where for the first time the other stars are younger than him. He is training them up. He is going to have a great team. People can wish it to be a demise but its not a logical wish. He is the man, both here and overseas, trying to overtake MJ in his marketing reach.

He's struggling by his standards. People got so used to him shooting in the mid to high 50s that they look at 47 percent shooting as bad

To be fair. With his size, skill, length and athleticism...he should be shooting over 50%. Under is a disappointment in that regard.

I agree but before he came to Miami he was always a 47 or 48% shooter for the most part. His shooting improved in Miami due to Lebron working on his jumpshot, Miami playing him at the 4, and the coaching staff getting him the ball in his sweet spot

You have to accept BKS that he is gone. The dude is on top of the NBA and will be for the next 5 years. he has prince and princesses to visit him. He has a level of power in the NBA only MJ ever had

I hate when clowns make me defend LeBron. If you can honestly say LeBron is not a player who can make a barrage of outside shots after what he's done over the last 3 years, I have no idea what the hell you were watching.

maybe im missing something. just my interpretation of the situation like it or not. but for most of his career what I have seen is driving to basket, some post ups, not saying he doesn't make outside shots...but once he gets to a point in his career where 90 percent of his shots are jumpers then. LeBron last year was in the top 10 in field goal percentage. hes not in top 30 this year so far anyway. so signs point to more outside shots which hes making at a lesser rate. even in last few years there were stats out there saying LeBron shooting percentage outside of the paint was less than stellar. but by all means defend.

back to back L's for the Cavs. Just when you thought they figured it out Boom they lose 2 in a row. I said it from the start I don't think they will play enough D to win a championship.

I agree. He never had a great outside shot. Now when he is on he is on.

Later in his career he might turn into nic stretch 4 who will be able to post. He isn't the top player anymore but still one of the best in the league.
