Not sure what your point supposedly is.

Just because ESPN reported that it's due to Covid, doesn't mean that's how the NBA reports it. The OP also said that they "no one wants to say it's Covid" trying to say that it was because it was Lebron. The OP was wrong. The NBA itself doesn't announce that it's Covid, they say it's health and safety protocols. It doesn't matter who the player is. If the player or the team wants to say it's Covid or a news outlet wants to put 2+2 together and say it's Covid...that's their business and has nothing to do with how the NBA reports it.

Really not that difficult.

Good thing the headlines didn't read, "Lebron tests positive for CoVid" bc it would be a lie! Maybe one of the reasons these headlines have always read Health and Safety Protocol is to cover their ass in case there was false positive test, like in Lebron's case.
