Game #5 of at least six, possibly seven.... hopefully not:D

The Pens are sure to be hauling ass when the puck drops on the first period. I predict a Pittsburgh win of 3-2.

"Thursday, Gionta scored his fifth goal of the playoffs. He became the first U.S.-born player in franchise history to score as many as five goals in one playoff season. The previous record of four goals was shared by Chris Chelios and John LeClair. …"

...I thought this was kinda odd

Lol, "were playing great but they are playing the trap" vs. The Canadiens might be a good thread name too.

And now Chelios is trying to set AHL playoff records too. What a guy!

And I could have sworn Wings fans were railing against Gill in last year's SCF for the very same thing. Hmmm.

I wash my hands of Gill's "hockey skills". He's out of the country, and it's out of my hands:)

Hard to believe this MIGHT be the last game i get to see in person at the old Civic Arena. Been going to games since '82. Win tonight boys so the old barn gets at least a Game 7.

In my mind, it's like offensive holding in the NFL. You could probably call holding 80% of the time a NFL quarterback drops back to pass, but the refs only flag the blatant infractions. It's still better than the pre-lockout days as far as the NHL is concerned, but I would argue that the refs aren't calling as many interference and holding penalties in the playoffs as they were during the regular season.

At some point Crosby and others need to realize if it isn't being called you have to fight through it and not get frustrated. Just work harder and good things could happen.

It is only fair that he be called for the same amount of penalty minutes as that 7 game series. What, it's only through 4 games and he has 5 times the amount of penalty minutes. wtf!!!! :D
