Doob's take: rarely will I call Team Switzerland an overwhelming favorite in this tournament, but that seems to be the case here. Don't know much about Team Latvia but it's one of the least impressive rosters I've seen. I pick Switzerland to win 4-2.

Switzerland is my dark horse in this tournament - if Jonas Hiller plays really well, they can shock some people - I like their defense with Roman Josi, Mark Streit, Raphael Diaz and Yannick Weber - their depth isn't that great at forward, other than Nino and Damien Brunner but I like their goaltending and defense

Yeah, I like Switzerland and Austria a lot. I don't expect them to medal but if either one could place top 6 that would be awesome!

I think the Swiss will cover. When I look at Team Switzerland, I see a team that could potentially compete for the top 6 if Finland or Czech Republic were to fall.
