The fact that there is no fracture is GREAT news.....

My cousin was playing QB and tore all 4 ligaments on one play..........luckily the procedure to fix these torn ligaments is far easier and more effective than it once was.......

My cousin recovered 100% from the injury, and he once again participates fully is sports.

And yes, it is possible to tear all 4......just rare is all.

What's the point in being so secretive on details? I don't see how it serves any positive purpose.

The only thing I can think is the family and team are still trying to come to complete terms with this and what it means to ML’s future and that of the team. No matter what is said, the media will crush the poor family with an onslaught of questions that they may just not want to deal with right now. I’m sure they’re focusing on trying to comfort their son, and don’t really want to deal with the assholes in the press.

It's illegal unless Lattimore consents to having his personal health information made public.

Was definitely a nasty injury, but really the rehab will be the exact same as an ACL tear, even if he had all four ligaments rupture. Certainly he's got some issues with the soft tissue around the patella, but that's not as bad as a compound fracture at the joint line. Assuming he has no cartilage damage (cartilage tear = quicker return but earlier long-term problems, deep "bruise"/compression = bad news bears), he will be back for fall practice next season.
