I was touring in Alaska with a Louisiana band when Katrina hit. Met a girl up here. Went back to BR and half of NOLA was there. Went back to Alaska.... still here.

There are/were quite a few LA/NOLA transplants here (a buddy of mine worked with one). Not sure if most stayed or moved back home.

It's pretty sad that so many people had to leave everything they ever knew, and completely rebuild somewhere else again.

I've lived in middle TN my entire life Nashville & Murfreesboro). Tulsa, OK and Pensacola, FL are the furthest I've ever been, lol.

Guess my umbilical cord doesn't stretch very far.
