I looked up the box-score and see it was to Bailey. However I couldn't have told you that until this thread.
It WAS garbage time walk-on's playing against a Fresno St team that had already given up.

^^ that doesn't make sense either because Brasky refers to Lane coming in after that play, implying he was lower on the depth chart/rotation than Fyfe/Bailey

Fair enough. We are reading it differently. I read it as Fresno St had already given up BY letting a walk-on from Iowa catch a pass from a walk-on from Grand Island.

My brain added the word "BY" in there.

Hovey's receptions were with the #1 offense, he started going in really early in the 3Q

I took it the same way RA did, stool.

But when I read I tend to skip over stuff and only pick up things like "Iowa." And then you posted "California."

And I will admit, I was confused and thought about making the same post that RA had made. Didn't even think about the fact that Brasky's post mentioned Fyfe throwing a pass.

Not sure why Nebraska even recruits scholarship WR's when they've got studs like Baily and Hovey.
