70' Olds Cutlass Coupe
70' Monte Carlo
70' Monte Carlo
That is quite the list.
I didn't do an exact count, but probably 200 cars???
would have been nice if they listed engine size and options.
it's like a time capsule
Amazing. But I wonder whether you'd be better off buying some old Chevy that's been driven a bit or one of these? Every piece of plastic and rubber is toast and has to be replaced anyway...and much of the metal.
i live in omaha and have seen all the news footage of a lot of theses cars and other than dust you dont see any wear and tear. These cars were not just sitting out in the elements they were stored inside and protected from most types of weather.
I can see why some of those cars didn't sell at the time.
did you see that '67 Impala? 396/4spd. no radio, no pwr steering, no a/c, no nothing. but it would be great to have today.
I think juice is right about the restorations. those cars didn't have a lot of plastic, but the rubber seals around the windows/trunk are gone, all the rubber and gaskets under the hood are probably toast. but wouldn't it be fun to put it back together and drive.
so, 500 cars total.
if I put the total dollar amount at $5million dollars, would you take the over or under????
I wonder if you can buy one of these cars and hold the MSO open, then restore it, then take to Mecum or Barrett/Jackson and sell it there, so as to let that person be the 1st owner.
I could see some really big numbers that way.
I could see that.
I wonder what most people will have in mind for these cars.
Me, I'd do the original thing.
I think you said you would do some mods.
Do you think that a lot of these cars will just be bought, to be resold without doing a thing to them??
