As it stands, there are 6 teams with worse records than us, and two tied. With the east being weak as hell there's no way we end up with a top 5 pick.

I haven't picked a seat on the bandwagon yet, but, barring a minor miracle of some sort, this team isn't getting to the playoffs.

Plus, I have to admit that there would be a certain sense of satisfaction in seeing the Suns not get that pick.

If the Lakers are in position to use it this year, then the Suns don't get it. Personally, if the Lakers are not getting to playoffs (which they're not) or at least flirt with them for awhile, then I'd rather them be bad enough to keep the pick.

I agree, I don't think they'll be as bad next year and depending on they get in FA, they may even get back to the playoffs, so this is the year to suck bad enough to get a top 5 pick.
