No Tim Duncan tonight.

The Spurs almost gagged a 27 point halftime lead after Timmy went down early in the 3rd quarter.

They looked a little lost on the interior defense.

Hopefully, Pop can coach them up.

But, the LAKERS caught a huge break tonight with Duncan being out.

GO SPURS GO.

every game will be a test for our squad....if/when we develop an identity then the path should be clearer. And everybody(exc Nash/Young) is playing for that next contract including Pau so if they don't bring it every single night on both ends, their chances for '14 to ink a larger deal will blow up unless we have trades.
Surprised so far that X is leading the team in scoring as it should be Pau at least. Not sure how long we should have Shawne starting at the 4 but Kaman coming off the bench isn't hurting us.

How is it irrelevant?

The LAKERS had the entire offseason and the entire preseason to play without Kobe.

They literally had almost 7 months to design their game plan without Kobe.

The SPURS have had exactly 1 practice without Duncan.

It does add relevance.

I'm pretty sure the Spurs caught a huge break also with Kobe out right ?? ...You pretty much are saying we are lucky we are facing you with out Duncan WTF is that ?? we are depleted also with out our star whether we needed a game plan to prepare for 7 months...if i recall they do take a summer break but thats another story.

Don't make an excuse that you don't have Duncan, because we are not making any with Kobe.

So yea that's how your statement is irrelevant IMO... ( NO DUNCAN ) OK (NO KOBE ) either...nobody caught a break buddy. wait i mean ( HUGE BREAK ) like you said.

Missing a superstar is missing a superstar. Additionally, the Spurs are more experienced overall than the Lakers as they have essentially the same team as last year. The Lakers do not.

Also, Pop likes to hold out Duncan, Parker and Ginobili throughout the season, so it's not as if the other players aren't used to not having them.

That's why your comment is irrelevant. You're just trying to have your excuse ready if the Lakers manage to win tonight!!

Let the butthurt flow through you! You wont have Duncan out as long as Kobe will have missed with his Achilles injury and the Spurs still have plenty of talent. Did you forget that your third stringers almost beat Miami in Miami last year? Pop is a great coach and will have you guys ready to play! I am sorry Tim is injured, but I do not see how it is an excuse considering we are missing Kobe.

Good first quarter by the Lakers! Im loving the energy! I would love to see Pau go to the hole more and not just shoot threes though.

Nash sucks, had three tunrovers in as many possessions and then left the game. The game started with high energy and then San Antonio turned up the defensive wick and got more aggressive on both ends of the floor and the Lakers wilted. Steve Nash is useless, Steve Blake is useless, and everyone else just lost their mental toughness and started fading except for maybe Wesley Johnson. Pau Gasol looks old and slow. Nash looks old and ridiculous, and Steve Blake is flat out ridiculous as well.

Our long range shooting is beginning to fade and now many of the players are beginning to miss free throws. 1-2 sucks when they could easily be 2-1 and they gave this one away. Jodie Meeks was playing a pretty decent game and then faded as did Henry who fell on a play and smacked his head to get a few stitches. Don'tknowi does not know how to motivate this team and lolligagging is begining to creep in. I hope this changes but they are beginning to slip. We shall see if they get back to .500 on Sunday night. What a load of krap.

No need to have Kobe comeback this season for this crap...take the season of to get get healthy like D Rose did, We ain't going nowhere anyways.

It's pathetic How Antonni took out Farmar midway through the 4th & brings in Blake to finish the game (garbage) he fucken sucks balls!! & Nash is a walking ban-aid. Gasol is softer then a females shaved pussy!:L

FUCK YOU BLAKE & ANTONNI!!!

I agree 100% with the 3 comment above me. Putting in Blake the last 6 min or so of the game when he was missing wide open shots the whole game was head scratching 2 for 12. Seems like Nash came to the LAKERS to do the same thing as Howard did. Sabotage the LAKERS. Gasol on defense reminds me of a guy with Alzheimer's looking for his way back home with a note in his pocket. Slow to react, fake hustle, step slow, minute late etc. Nick Young seems like he doesn't get enough sleep. LAKERS are starting to look like the gang that couldn't shoot straight. Meeks,Farmar, Hill have been the bright spots so far. Wesley Johnson came out a little this game.

They put in Blake cause they are tanking. It might not be the popular choice but it is the right one to turn the team around fast

I hear you LALakerboy, Chillipepper, Silas, Hangman. I am amazed they keep some of these players around. Granted, they spent themselves into a corner but to keep three guys around who simply are riding the Lakers train to get paid is beyond me. I call Gasol, Gasbag because he always looks tired and frustrated and now old and slow and out of gas. Nash is a complete waste of money and time and the same goes for Blake. Young has been reading way too many headlines of himself. And now we know this little experiment with Don'tknowi is leading down the same road. The dude is overrated and doesn't know the basics of coaching. Wins may change the standings, but this guy will never win a championship and I think Kobe knows it.
