Thank Goodness Lakers almost blew what would of been a pathetic humiliating loss.

We got alot of work to do on the defensive end & rebounding, no need to make games closer then what they should. We should be 2-0 on right now on this road trip. Back at .500 let's get a Win in Detroit...GO LAKERS

I had confidence that Meeks would hit his FT's but when Blake went to the line to give the Lakers a 4 point lead I knew he was gonna miss one. That guy just can't make it easy on the LAKERS. He threw away a pass in crunch time yesterday that cost them the game IMO and now misses a important FT this game. Not good. Lakers looked like shit after the 1st quarter. LAKERS needed every bit of that 27 point lead to eek out this game. Please KOBE come back soon you'll make a huge difference. When Lakers get Kobe back that should settle this talented but clueless Lakers down. Then become a very good team. Stability is what Kobe will bring. Just what the doctor ordered.

We are getting there slowly Chillipepper. It is just not as fast as it would be with Kobe perhaps. But overall, I like what this team is developing and in the long-run many of these same guys will be back. Shoot Sacre played tonight and Wesley Johnson is rapidly becoming a pretty darn good Basketball player.

And Meeks has really developed his game where he isn't that scared kid we watched last year. Farmar is really hot right now and Henry just needs some more experience and confidence. Our bench is once again tops in the league and Nick Young is gutsy. So we have a lot of nice pieces that may really gel when Kobe comes back or maybe not. It all depends. Nights like these with the adversity really matures a team like this into one with grit because thy already have the chemistry. So, I see a lot of positives on this road swing.

I agree with you 100% Retro, Good post. I don't see how the LAKERS can go wrong once Kobe comes back. He'll bring the leadership that will make this deep talented team that has good chemistry that also plays hard what it needs. Then LAKERS shine!
