I've seen Clarkson miss that shot the same way so many times, I like that his shots are on point for the most part but damn, so many in-n-outs.

I was thinking the same thing.
If Whiteside can become even a 60-65% FT shooter, he may soon be considered a top 3 center in the league.
Right now he's already right up there with just about anyone.

Anyway, you guys have some pretty young/ raw talent who are still leaving everything they have on the court,
I hate seeing players injured, but Kobe being out is really a blessing in disguise.

I see Riley's discovery of Whiteside is going to pay dividends. And you are right Turnup. If he improves his FT shooting, you guys have found a very good Center for some time to come. That's if he can stay healthy. That 7'7" reach on a seven-footer is stellar. I like what I saw tonight even right now.

Agree about Whiteside. I think the same re: Kobe being out. I was thinking about that during the game when they said 20 of the Lakers losses have been by 6 points or fewer. He'd probably make enough of a difference in those that it would cost them that possible top 5 pick. Hopefully, he and Randle will come back strong, the Lakers get that top 5 pick, do well in FA and give Kobe one last playoff run next year.

With all the reps he can get in at the practice facility, his shooting percentages will increase. A lot of his misses seem to be just long or just short. The mechanics are solid though and he has no problems getting good looks.
