Reports are that Rams will sign DW as soon as this weekend. Sources are saying they want to wait until after the draft so their strategy isn't let out of the bag. I like this addition. Nice veteran leadership for the young guys!

Umm...how is signing a safety going to expose our brilliant draft plan in the 4th and 6th round?

Well, I'm sure you know the saying but the Rams obviously don't. "Paranoia, They Destroy Ya"

Hiding our strategy? Us? Right now I wouldn't feel confident that our organization could successfully hide a damn Easter Egg!!!

Well, they have hid their QB decision (Wentz or Goff) so far...and they hid their intentions to draft Gurley last year.

I dunno.. They may still not know. My guess is they kinda do and will change moments before the draft.

Everyone is saying Goff. We'll see.

I prefer Wentz since he is more mobile and has been in a pro style offense. his big adjustment will be game speed ( which every rookie QB has to get used to ).

Goff has to learn how to run an offense from under center and learn game speed.

I really don't like either option, but since it is what it is, I prefer Wentz just a little more than Goff.

Goff is starting to grow on me, he has gotten better every year.

I like this info....

Of Goff’s incompletions this season only 30.2 percent have been poor quarterback accuracy or plays. If you adjust only for dropped passes, Goff has been accurate on 79.9 percent of his attempts, good for sixth in the nation. When you factor in the kind of pass-protection Goff is dealing with, that becomes even more impressive.

Despite getting rid of the ball on average in 2.28 seconds (33rd of 130 qualifying QBs in FBS), Goff’s offensive line has surrendered 52 total pressures in five games. He’s been sacked 12 times. He is under duress more than most quarterbacks but is as accurate as almost any of them. This is the key to both Goff’s grade and the Cal offense. They rely on him being able to reliably hit his targets and move the chains, and then strike over the top to keep teams honest.

Goff’s deep ball is among the best in football. If we look at just passes that travel 20+ yards in the air, Goff has completed 19 of 26 passes this season, and two of the incompletions were dropped. That’s an accuracy percentage of 80.8 on some of the most difficult passes in the game. That isn’t just the best mark in the nation — only eight other quarterbacks in the FBS can come within 20 percent of that figure.

I'm thinking the pick is going to be Goff. I don't think Fisher can afford to take a "project" like Wentz right now. He will need some results soon and I see Goff as the guy who can do that. Will it be best for our franchise in the long run? I'm not so sure about that...

and that's the thing isn't it LRF.

Goff may be ready sooner, but that doesn't mean he is the best of the 2 QB's.

and if they take Goff for that reason, and Wentz ends up the better QB ( and by that I mean a big enough difference to matter ), it will look very bad considering they have the choice of the two.

I really don't like this situation. the Rams have shown a tendency to choose the wrong guy they consider to be the top of their position in any round ( Robinson over Matthews/Lewan/Martin, Quick over Jeffries in the 2nd in 2012, trading up for Austin when they could've stayed put and taken Hopkins at #16 in 2013 and saved a 2nd rounder ).

obviously, Gurley was an exception. but, usually there have been more misses than hits. I just have a bad feeling about this draft.

We are one of the better teams drafting teams recently, I'm hoping this years is no different. This is the most important one.

After all of their praise for Keenum, it shouldn't matter which guy is ready sooner. Just take the better prospect.

If they don't know, they better be trying to get the Eagles to trade up.

More of the same bullshit. Hiding a draft plan? Give me a break.
