BG lost that game. There is no loss worse than a brain fart from one player. Smh.

Great game last night. Duncan still can give a big night.

there is a lot of talk about stopping this hack a Shaq. No its part of the game. This is on the player. Get better at Free throws and teams won't do it. Does it suck to see teams do it yes but its on the player. This would be a weak move by the NBA if they do this.

I'n the words of the only other true Clipper fan that I know in the Cyber-world:

Welp!

This is why I try to make my picks based on basketball knowledge and not ridiculous homerism.

Crumbled like a cookie.

 Job well done by the Spurs. They hung in there and pounced on the opportunities given by the Clippers to steal game 2 in the last minute, literally. I had no doubts.

:L (I really can't believe I'm routing for the Spurs)

People used to hack-a-Duncan and hack-a-Karl-Malone when they first arrived.

Don Nelson did it 20 years ago as the coaching guru behind its current form.

It has been going on for years. It is only in the era of twitter and sports message boards that it gets any traction.

But Timmy and the Mailman worked on their free throws and actually improved to the point where it was not a viable strategy.

Every word of it. If you can't make the simplest shot in the game, at least 60% of the time, you deserve to be embarrassed on national television.

As I've said before, as a Lakers fan, I saw the Hack-A-Shaq used against the Lakers. When Shaq started hitting free throws, as he says, "when they mattered", teams stopped doing it.

If memory serves, the same tactic was used on Timmy early in his career. But he became a good free throw shooter and now, no one uses it against him.

Yeah, I remember Malone taking forever to shoot his free throws. I think Rodman in those Finals matchups would count the seconds it would take Malone. If I remember correctly, a player is supposed to shoot the free throw within 10 seconds of getting the ball from the ref. Malone would always take longer.

That is not a hissy fit.

It is a player extremely frustrated in OT of a playoffs game that they did not get back on defense

Is he looking to his left at a ref or a teammate?

If I remember the play correctly he was looking at Blake.

No way was he looking at the ref. He had just missed a jumpshot and somehow Mills or whoever scored got behind the Clippers D for the easy 2 late in OT

I think you're right after just watching the highlights, except it was Barnes who missed the jumpshot. Blake was basically standing at halfcourt while Mills was sneaking behind him and heading towards the basket. Still funny though.

I agree 100%. learn how to shoot and u won't have this problem. You are suppose to be a Pro. Same argument can be said Rivers; Why not take him out if you don't like it. Pop just out coached you. It happens.

No Im saying instead of talking about Hack a jordan maybe people should question Rivers for keeping him in at the end when you need points.

Doc said a long time ago that he will not allow hack a jordan to dictate how he plays Jordan. He also didn't want Jordan to worry about being replaced in a game when teams go to the strategy

I guess but it cost them a game and maybe the turning point of the Series.

It didn't cost them the game.....it actually helped them back in the game.

Blake cost them the game

He's looking at Barnes. Barnes blew the wide open 3 to give them the lead, stood around watching his miss, and let his man race down court for the outlet pass/layup.

Barnes had no business being in the game
