Kansas State was supposed to stink this season.

No team in the nation lost more starters than did K-State. They literally graduated the entire team.

I believe they were picked 6th out of 10 teams and that was being generous to respect Bill Snyder.

NDKST is an FCS superpower who routinely beats FBS schools.

K-State was an unranked team facing a very uncertain season.

This was probably not that big of a deal in the big picture.

Michigan was the #5 team in the country when they lost. That was more stunning.

K-state will regroup and get better as the new faces learn to play Snyder ball.

Team BIG 12! Team BIG 12!

I was very impressed by the fundamentals and ability of NDSU to play their game and make KSU play their game. --- NDSU looked rock solid.

NDSU played old school smash mouth football last night. I really enjoyed that game regardless of the perception it gives to the conference. Plus, I kinda enjoy watching K-State lose for some reason. I can only think of 5 consecutive reasons why...

This was a pretty good team that KSU lost to tonight. 2 time defending FCS champions. With the team they have this year they could easily play a DIV 1 schedule in any conference. That said, Kansas St may have been overrated this year. Loss of Klein is really big.
