AK: Why?
PL: Because in July you've said you wanted to stay in NHL
AK: I said it last year when I had a contract with Ottawa. My position this summer was - if I get an offer from KHL, I'll definitely review it.
I had invitations from 2 NHL teams, but I chose to return to Russia
PL: Because of?
AK: Contract length. Didn't want to be uncertain every summer anymore. I realized that won't get more than 1 year contract in America. Atlant offered me 2 years

AK: I possibly couldn't. There is no Atlanta anymore - the team moved to Winnipeg
