It was always about money with him, I hope just 1 team says no and he is screwed. Sue, it's only for a year but it sends a string message what he can expect if he returned free and clear a year later.
It's disappointing he dangled the Kings and used their offer to up NJ's offer when he had no intention of signing here. Poetic justice that the Kings beat him in 2012 for a Cup.
Now that the KHL is feeling the effects of the devalued Ruble, no surprise he is considering coming back - gotta chase that green!
