Kopitar might be done for the season

MIGHT be done.. just twisted his ankle in a very awkward and ugly way and it didn't look good. He couldn't put any weight at all on the leg as he got helped off the ice. Hoping for the best.

I was semi joking. It looks like his right fibula could even be broken. Ok that's 2 months, but his leg twisted ugly

Worst case is tib/fib, but that's very very unlikely, next down is fibula fx and high ankle sprain, then next would be high ankle, then just a lateral ankle sprain. My guess is merely high ankle, which still puts you out nearly a month because you have to be in a boot for a few weeks non-weight bearing. A fx and high sprain isn't too bad because if you have to be off of it for a few weeks anyway, it just gives the bone time to heal. Regardless, I'd say a month.
