Was supposed to be having some Sunday afternoon cocktails with friends but it doesn’t feel right. Man, I hope his wife has some professional help on hand right now. She seriously might need to be sedated.

I haven’t been able to post here for a few months because work has been out of control, but I had to take a minute to push work to the side for this news.

Dude was an insane talent who really didn’t get enough credit in my opinion. Kobe had a huge impact on me as I was just entering high school when he entered the league. I watched him any chance I could, looked up to how he manhandled dudes on the court, and tried to make myself better because of it.

RIP to one of the all time greats. An absolute massive loss to the world of sports.

Yep. I went through this a few months ago when my grandfather passed. It is a time were you must banded as a family. No lines, no issues. Someone in your inner circle is hurting.

YOU MUST BE STRONG BUT VULNERABLE FOR THAT PERSON.

Truly unbelievable to think he’s gone at age 41. Basketball lost a beloved HOF player! May the God who surpasses all understanding be with his family at this most difficult time.

I didn't even realize I loved this guy, until now.

There have only been a few Celebrity deaths that caused me to be utterly, unbearably SAD to the point that I want to curl up in the fetal position.

Robin Williams, Prince and now Kobe Bryant.

Never have been a basketball fan, but Kobe was one of the few players I knew of. It sucks to lose your heros, especially at such a young age.

I freely admit that I cried like a baby when Dale Earnhardt Sr. died.

This so much. I self-taught myself alot of things, one of which is not to speak Ill of the dead.

If so. Give it time. Few days at least before you go on attack mode.

There was another thread on here I couldn’t believe... some mean people!

Guy had insane vision as a jump-shooter. Don't know how many times I saw him well-defended, hand in his face, and he'd crank a 3 over him anyway.

RIP Kobe, GiGi, their two friends and the pilot....really feel for Kobe's wife and three children. I can't imagine what they are going through today.
