Shark, any idea when we can actually sign KC? My guess is we have to wait until after the season, but do we get any special signing time before FA actually starts?

The new deal has got to wait until the beginning of the 2017 league year to be official. But as far as I know, nothing would stop them from agreeing to and signing a new deal NOW. But the deal itself would not impact us until 2017 and beyond. IN English this means they can stash any of his bonus money into this hears as a cap hit.

As long as The Skins resign Big Cuz I don't care when or how they do it.

As for the salary cap Snyder and Allen have always figured out how to knock it down to a manageable amount. That's the only consistently good thing that's happen under Snyder's ownership.

I was for signing him last year, but i do understand why they did what they did. They just need to stop fucking around now and sign him to that long term deal as soon as they are allowed.

Yea, but if we had signed him at $20m a year for 5 years, it would be a $100m contract.

Now we are looking at $24m a year for five years PLUS the $20m we already paid him.

So instead of $20m a year for five years, we average $23.3m a year for six years.

Fuck it, its not my money. :thumb:

Woulda, shoulda , coulda. Who cares. Yes they made mistakes. However - they have also made some pretty good decisions & this team is in much better shape than it was say 3 years ago & prior to that time. Does everyone remember when the O line was considered a disaster? It is now one of their strengths. How about the QB position? Appears to be in better shape than it has been since the Gibbs I era.

The current FO was not brought in to fix everything overnight. IMO they were brought in to implement a 3-4 year plan, and I believe that they are right on schedule. They can now focus on building the D & getting rid of some of the dead weight. I am very excited at the prospect of this team being a consistent contender for many years to come. That is also something that has not been in play since the Gibbs I era.

Why do you always appear to focus on the negative aspects of this team?
