Ok let's say hypothetical RG3 is only out 6 weeks if Cousins is playing well and the team is winning there is no way you take him out.

If KC is doing well and the team is winning then you are right you cant bench him in my opinion if you are trying for a playoff spot no matter how much i like RG3

Looks like no surgery for Griffin, he'll be out at least half the season, if we're doing good with Kirk no way do you put Griffin in.

If he's stinking it up, then you have to think about it.

UNless Kirk is playing like Tebow in lead boots, you still dont put Griffin in unless we are still in division contention. And some how I dont think that happens if Kirk is stinking up the joint. I love the way our defense is playing, but Im not yet ready to say they could carry the team no matter who the QB is. So if we are out of it and Kirk is struggling, you ride out the season and dont risk RG3 getting hurt yet again in a meaningless game.

History reminder: Spring of 2001 the Pats sign Drew Bledsoe to a 10 year $103M contract. Bledsoe gets hurt in week 2, Tom Brady takes over and 5-2 as a starter when Bledose comes back. Belichek stuck with Brady even though they were just 5-4 at the time, and the rest is history. Brady wins the last 5 regular season games plus the Super Bowl and Belichek becomes an instant genius.

If Cousins goes 5-3 for us, you gotta stick with him. 6-2 its a no brainer. At 4-4 or worse it becomes a question.

So the answer is, we'll see after about 8 games where we are.
