Hibbert sets an illegal screen and he now has four fouls.
Turns out we lost anyways. Don't look now but Philadelphia is winning games and is just three games ahead of us. Could it be we end up with the number one position for ping-pong balls?

I just hope next year we won't be thinking about the draft position. I am tired of this.
I agree the young players should be better. The offseason free agency with players no longer having to have that "can they play with Kobe" media driven nonsense gone, should help with the recruiting of top free agents. We will see. Are we out of the first round pick mess after this year?Depending on how FA goes, we could be looking at 1 more season like this. Maybe not as bad because the young guys should be better and we'd hopefully add another top pick, but still no playoffs.
We know the Lakers are going to go after KD. There's a theory out there that he could choose to sign a 1 year deal with OKC and then become a free agent again next year (setting him up for a supermax) and then he and Westbrook both come to the Lakers.
That one seems a little far fetched to me, but then I never thought we'd see what Lebron, Wade and Bosh did to team up. So who knows?

I'm not sure. I know that the pick for this year is top 3 protected. If we finish out of the top 3 this year, the pick goes to the Sixers and we're finally done with it.
If we keep the pick, then I believe the Sixers get our 1st rounder next season (don't believe there are any protections) and then it's finally over. Gotta love that Dwightmare deal. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
Agree about the "can't play with Kobe" media driven nonsense. I think Kobe was part of what was keeping FA's away. But it was because Kobe is 37 and coming off of some serious injuries over the past 3 seasons, not the nonsense the media was tossing out there.
Thanks the info man whst a mess. I guess 2020 looks clean lolPick Swaps
- 2016 — Owe first-rounder (top-three protected through 2017, unprotected in 2018) to Philadelphia 76ers (Steve Nash, Brandon Knight).
- 2018 — Owe first-rounder (top-five protected, unprotected in 2019) to Orlando Magic (Dwight Howard). If a first-rounder not sent to Philadelphia by 2017, pick to Orlando converts to 2017 and 2018 second-rounders.
- 2019 — Owe second-rounder to Indiana Pacers (Roy Hibbert).

Damn, AARP will be knocking on my door then lolLooks we are not done with the Dwightmare/Nash mess until 2018 and the Hibbert deal until 2019. Hopefully, we will get to 2018 and that draft put us over the top in 2019 when it will not matter then if we lose a second rounder to Indiana.
