Pretty much the only reason why I won't grow one 90% of the time - I wouldn't be surprised if I am on some no-fly list somewhere and don't even know it. The Feds will be surprised when they go through my computer and find You ****, eBay, hockey and bank sites and what not even though I''m of mixed heritage and definitely have a Middle Eastern last name.

Funny incident: July 2011 I got a job interview with a company based out of North Carolina who was looking for a Southern CA rep. The way the timing worked out, they were at a trade show in Vegas so we coordinated everything and I flew out on a 5am flight to meet them. This was 2 months after I broke my right ankle playing hockey, so I looked absolutely dumb in an expensive suit and tie but a giant black walking boot on my right leg.

I get to LAX and went through all security without a hitch, they didn't even hesitate twice. My carry on went through the xray machine, they wanded me and I was done. Meanwhile, some poor white lady behind me got pulled aside and had to go through the dreaded TSA screening.

I bet she had a wonderful day.

This league just keeps on getting more and more competitive each year. 1 week left in the regular season and nobody has clinched a playoff spot!!

Also, it looks like everyone is still an active manager which is pretty cool.

Love the commitment this season.

yeah, it's been a super close league this year. Only 7/1000th of a point seperating teams 2-5 and less than 3/10th of a point seperating the current top 6 playoff teams heading into the final week before the playoffs. A good week by one or more teamse could really shake up the entire playoff order. That said, Pucky, feel free to sit your entire roster this week, they look tired and have earned a well deserved break.

Lonnie D took a massive beatdown last week from Brad Doty, I was up 12-0-2 Friday and won the week 11-1-2. Looking at my schedule I'm 5-1 in the last 6 weeks, although I think it's a little too late to get back into everything.

I had good weeks, but so did the guys I was trying to catch - this is the first time I have left 10th place in probably 3 months, I was just treading water. Shows how important the strong starts are in October.

Had all kinds of guys go on IR/IR+ in a span of 4 days - Erat, Hossa, Tytutin, etc. in a weird rash of injuries. I'm pretty lucky the guys I did have (picked up some gems the last two weeks - Backland, Hamilton to mention two) came through big time.

At this point I think I can make the consolation bracket, but overall this has been a fun season. Would like to crack the top 6 again, it'll be two years after this season.

That Ryan Miller trade killed my team because I no longer have a starting goalie. I have Elliott, Halak, Greiss, Budaj Emery.
5 (as puck calls them) BEDSHITTERS.

Freaking Kane is on the shelf. And one of my starting goalies is on IR. And 2 of the back ups that I have decided that now is a good time not to play.

my team is the most bipolar +/- team I've ever seen. I was -17 last week and so far I'm +6 this week.

Some weeks I get like 20+ goals, other weeks I'm lucky if I break 10.

it was a super close matchup between Stunner & I. Stunner actually went ahead in power play points to even the score at 7-7. Thankfully Getzlaf (this will be the only time I'll ever say this) got me a PPP in the third, and the Duck still lost to Edmonton. I got the draw in that category, took away one of Stunner's wins and finished 7-6.

Nice job guys, fun season as always.

I don't care where I end up, I like the passive competition we have here and the ribbing that goes on all year long. Some of the best zingers are in the annual FHL threads yearly.

I'm only going to be replacing people who get injured (like Lupul). My roster has gotten me this far, no sense changing it now.

Good game, man. You goalies were murdering early in the week (Jimmy Howard two wins and Kari Lehtonen shutout) but my team came back towards the end to make it competitive.

My team wasn't dominant down the stretch but I think I was holding down the #1 spot in the league since late January. I felt like the Blues. I had such a good regular season but didn't have it in the Playoffs.
