1st game we outplayed our opponent, but didn't get the WIN due to lack of players making key plays.

2nd game total domination on both sides of the ball, nice W.

3rd game difficult spot for this New Washington Redskins team. Winning an NFL game is very, very hard. This team is heading in a different direction with Gruden as the HC, and there will be highs and lows this season. I'm on record saying I don't think KC is the long term answer, but he is the best QB on this team currently.

IMO there were some terrible "home cookin'" penalties last night that really changed the flow of the game. How about on the Redskins first offensive play of the game? Total BS penalty!

It is what it is, one of those games. I'm sure with good coaching, and proper execution by the players we will see improvement, And with the current talent on this roster, that's all we should expect.

HTTR!

I agree with your post mitz. Some people on here are blaming Gruden for last night. I just don't see it.

Gruden is a bumbling idiot with an agenda and should not be a HC in this league. Way in over his head imo.

A falcons win and we are a game out almost a month into the season. Not time to start firing coaches and benching quarterbacks.

Yeah, I'm curious about that one also.

Is this not year 2 of Chucky Jr? Gruden made things evident that Robert was not his guy thus, the 3 week saga of clearing a supposed concussion and handed the job to Cousins. I don't want to hear all the crap about practices, OTA's, minicamps evaluation BS either. Griffin was named the starting QB of this team early in spring and NEVER, I repeat NEVER, was given ample opportunity to prove his worth in games behind a revamped OL. Now Kirk is handed the job and with any QB play what so ever, we could very well be 2-1 if not, 3-0. Instead, we are 1-2 coming off a train wreck and have no real answers other than a running game that never materialized last night due to some genius staffer who though Plummer was ready for the big time, my goodness. Can we get some real coaches in here please!!!

I do think he has an "agenda"...but, it's to win NFL football games
Well then he is going about it the wrong way, but hey, its his way and it will be his way that gets him his walking papers. I'm cool with that.

Did you really just suggest that the Redskins would be 3-0 with RG3 at QB?...again, wow.

Ok. So what was his agenda? Are you inferring that he took the HC position for the sole purpose of benching RG3? Don't you think the easiest thing in the world would have been for him to play RG3 and make his boss happy? Do you really beleive he hoped that RG3 would fail?

As for the revamped OL, what makes you believe that Griffin wouldn't have suffered multiple sacks last night and likely a fumble or two. KC was under constant pressure but moved into the opening. Robert has never been able to do that. Last years results are evidence of that. How to you explain last years sack totals? With the exact same OLine, KC and Robert each had approximately the same number of pass attempts. Robert had over 30 sack while KC had just 9. Same line, roughly same number of attempts. How do you rationalize that?

Actually, no I said, "with any QB play what so ever, we could very well be 2-1 if not, 3-0". I did NOT say with RG3 or McCoy now did I.
You are simply stirring the pot here while I am simply pointing out that KC was awful last night and not the immediate or long term answer to our QB situation. So yeah, wow, just wow...

how because he benched 3sus ?

3sus was handed the job in DC the moment his diva ass showed up in DC and now you are whining about how KC got the job ? trent williams would not have made the redskins o/line the great wall of china vs detroit and 3 couldnt stay healthy . you bring up the concussion even though it was a freaking independent DR. who DIDNT clear him as by league rules . are you suggesting that gruden paid more money then snyder to not clear him ? or do you simply not know league protocols for concussions and are talking out your wazzooo and the biggest thing i see is what the hell has 3 done to deserve to play . he is a high school simpleton in the pocket and cant do any of the things a pro qb needs too to be a simple game manager 3 couldnt hit those wrs either because he couldnt find them with radar much less trust them to make a throw to them .

Reed could've sold the pick play much better than he did imo.

Far as was last night Gruden's fault. He's the HC of the team, whether anyone thinks so or not. He can't go blameless for how unprepared the team looked and played especially early in the game.

Week to week league and it's important to remember that. Narrative is going to change...about another 13 times... ha

We've had 2 games with a glimpse of how we've improved and 1 game that showed us how far we have to go.

I like the direction of the trenches. Lauvao out is going to be a challenge for the Oline. For as much as he gets bashed, he's the best we've got and he's done a very good job so far. Would love it if Ari could step up but not sure he's developed enough. I trust Callahan to make the right choice. But jeez, ribeye doesn't inspire confidence at all.

The injuries are really beginning to take a toll. And those can derail a season and development quicker than anything. Part of the game but a few more and it will get really dicey.

Like to see Ross and Crowder get some more opportunity. I've seen enough of Roberts.

Also feel like there has been an improvement on tackling which is encouraging.

Amen to that. And don't forget Grant. Both he and Crowder seemed to be open a lot last night. Cousins should've went to Crowder on that ball he threw behind Garcon in fact.
