he was released because their kicker returned from injury

he did miss some extra points tho

what do you expect to sign 12 weeks in

again, WHO is this Ravens kicker, can find a name to research him. has he even kicked in a real NFL game yet? is he a rookie?

I might give Baily a look, but last time I saw him he was bad. I remember Zane was a top rated kicker in his draft class.

I just heard on the Junkies that the WTF wanted to sign AC/DC earlier in the season twice but he had signed with someone else before they got to him.

Yeah, RR mentioned in his presser that they had their eye on him and tried to add him to the PS but he chose the Bears PS instead

guess they might have been trying to bring in competition after all

don't see Slye returning from a hammy in 2 weeks but it will be interesting to see what happens on the kicking front down the road if they had been eye balling Brian that early in the season

It will be very interesting. Sly's kicks were looking a lot better than that knuckle ball Johnson snuck through the uprights. Time will tell. If Johnson doesn't miss in the meantime, you have to keep him and ride the hot hand.

The Patriots actually did that, sort of, many years ago. It was training camp and some tourists came out for a cheap afternoon. The were watching the place kickers, and a guy from the stands got up and said, "I can do that."

That's how John Smith became a Patriot.
